ELEKTREE INDIA Warranty Policy
Comprehensive Warranty Terms for Electric Bikes, Scooters, Batteries, Chargers, Accessories, Dealers, Distributors and ELEKTREE INDIA-Owned Showrooms in India
1. Purpose and Applicability
This Warranty Policy sets out the terms under which ELEKTREE INDIA provides limited warranty support for ELEKTREE INDIA-branded electric bikes, electric scooters, lithium-ion battery packs, chargers, standard-fitment components, genuine accessories and spare parts sold in India through authorised dealers, distributors and ELEKTREE INDIA-owned showrooms. This Policy is intended to provide fair customer support while protecting ELEKTREE INDIA against misuse, unauthorised repairs, abnormal operating conditions, commercial overuse, poor maintenance, non-genuine parts and claims not arising from manufacturing defects.
The warranty is a limited, non-transferable manufacturer warranty unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by ELEKTREE INDIA. It applies only to vehicles and products purchased from authorised ELEKTREE INDIA sales channels and registered in accordance with ELEKTREE INDIA’s prescribed delivery, warranty activation and service procedures.

Important: The above warranty periods are standard indicative terms. ELEKTREE INDIA may specify different warranty periods for specific models, variants, promotional schemes, extended warranty products, commercial-use vehicles, dealer demo vehicles or replacement parts. In case of conflict, the model-specific warranty booklet, invoice, extended warranty certificate or written communication issued by ELEKTREE INDIA shall prevail.
4. Battery Warranty Terms
The battery warranty is limited to manufacturing defects in the battery pack, internal cells, approved Battery Management System and internal pack assembly. Normal ageing, range variation and gradual capacity reduction are inherent characteristics of lithium-ion batteries and are not defects unless the battery State of Health falls below ELEKTREE INDIA’s prescribed warranty threshold during the applicable warranty period and such reduction is confirmed through ELEKTREE INDIA-approved diagnostics.
For warranty assessment, ELEKTREE INDIA may consider a battery eligible for repair or replacement only if the battery State of Health falls below 70% of original rated usable capacity within the applicable warranty period and kilometre limit, and only where such loss is not caused by misuse, unauthorised charging, deep discharge, overcharging, water ingress, physical damage, accident, fire, external electrical fault, software tampering or any excluded condition.
Battery range displayed or experienced by the customer may vary due to riding mode, speed, payload, road gradient, tyre pressure, ambient temperature, charging pattern, battery age, firmware version, traffic conditions and accessory load. Such range variation shall not by itself constitute a warranty defect.

8. Dealer, Distributor and Showroom Sales
Authorised dealers and distributors act as sales and service facilitation partners and shall not modify, extend, waive or override this Warranty Policy unless written authorisation is issued by ELEKTREE INDIA. Any verbal assurance, local commitment, informal discount-linked promise or unauthorised free-replacement commitment made by any dealer, distributor, showroom employee, sales executive or third party shall not bind ELEKTREE INDIA.

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. However, all warranty determinations, technical diagnostics and remedies shall be subject to ELEKTREE INDIA’s authorised inspection and warranty approval process. Any dispute shall first be referred to ELEKTREE INDIA customer support for resolution. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction specified in ELEKTREE INDIA’s invoice, dealer agreement or customer purchase documentation.
13. Policy Revision
ELEKTREE INDIA reserves the right to amend, update, withdraw, restrict, extend or replace this Warranty Policy, model-specific warranty terms, service intervals, claim procedures, warranty periods and exclusion clauses from time to time. The applicable warranty terms shall be those in force on the invoice date unless otherwise required by law or expressly confirmed by ELEKTREE INDIA in writing.
